A Day at the Zoo

Friday Mark and I captured our niece Rachel for a day. We started with sitting outside for lunch at McDonald's then headed to the Nashville Zoo at Grassmere. We had so much fun with this talkative 3 year old girly girl. We saw all kinds of birds, loved the big elephants, the giraffes, zebras, alligators, tigers, horsies, goats, and monkeys. She knew almost every animal but loved the giraffes and elephants most. As she rode the carousel she really enjoyed sitting on the monkey as we went up and down. She did so good but as we were headed to the last exhibit she told us she was ready to go. We enjoyed a chocolate ice cream cone and all outfits stayed clean! She is such a momma's girl but we didn't even mention momma on Friday. :) Then we came home and she helped me make cookies. We can't wait for our next day out with Rachel!
