Decision has been made

Well, I have found my perfect wedding dress. I went Tuessday night and tried on my two favorites. As soon as I put them both on, I knew which to go with. I was so scared I would decide on one, love it today and hate it in April. But everyday I think about it and I just continue to love it even more. I have also found the perfect bridesmaids dresses. See below. I can just see my girls in these now, they will be so beautiful! Let me know your thoughts.

Finding the Perfect Dress

This weekend a few of my favorite girls, mom, Jessica and Casey, came out to help me find the perfect dress! We had the best time, first being in the Dave Macon Day Parade, having the best experience at our first stop, A Bride's Storey, being greeted by Debbie Downer at The Bridal Gallery (which we made the best of), enjoying Krispy Kreme donuts AND ice cream, trying on jackets at David's Bridal and just having a great time together.

While we were having all this fun, Mark and dad were at my house, washing the house, re-mulching, mowing, and trimming bushes. Thanks guys for all your hard work, the house looks great!

I did find the perfect dress, I'm just not sure which one it is. :) I am in love with two very different dresses, so now I have to decide which I love more. I think this is a great problem to have. :) I also found lots of possible bridesmaid dresses, but have to check and make sure they can come in the right color. This weekend was very productive, now I just have some decisions to make. Thanks girls for such a great weekend!

Twins

Last week I got a haircut and I decided to add bangs. Every day since I feel like I look like Susan Sarandon. I think just because I think my head is all hair now and Susan has ALWAYS had bangs. :) I'm still trying to get used to them but I do think they are growning on me. Today isn't the best hair day but here is a shot of me with the new do. Can you tell who is who? :)

We have a date and location, we're good to go!

Mark and I have been so busy with the wedding plans, talking about honeymoons, trying to decide where we are going to live, looking at houses, discussing finances, etc. We have set our wedding date for April 25, 2009 and the wedding will be in Nashville at Historic Cedarwood. I saw this site a few months ago and fell in love with it. It will be an outside wedding with the reception to follow at the same place. We are so excited about all that we have going on and are having so much fun planning all of it. I am trying not to get stressed out and just enjoy every minute of this time in our lives. I have been so blessed to have Mark to share all of this with. Everything just seems to be falling into place perfectly. I love him so much and wouldn't want to spend these moments with anyone else. We have so much to look forward to in these next few months and even years together!

Up close and personal

We had a great July 4th weekend! The highlight was the Kenny Chesney concert on Saturday. A couple of months ago I told you all that my co-worker and I won FRONT ROW tickets, well they were GREAT! We had the best time and that is absolutely the best way to see a concert. It was very hot that day but we were fortunate enough to be in some shade and every once in a while there was a nice breeze, so it wasn't all that bad. The show started with Gary Allen. He was awesome but he just didn't play long enough. :( I would have loved to hear more of him. LeAnn Rimes came on next. I am not really a huge fan but boy did she put on a show. I really liked her live. Then came Sammy Hagar, not really sure where he was supposed to fit in but anyway, he was there and we listened. :) Keith Urban took the stage next. He was AWESOME! We were seated to the left of the stage a bit but all artists worked the stage great, so we were able to get a really good shot of each star. Well, Keith came over to our side, sat down on the stage with his feet hanging off. Then before we knew it, he was standing in the chair right beside us. As he continued to sing, all of us crazy fans just snapped pictures of him left and right. And I TOUCHED HIM. :) I don't even remember what song he was singing or anything. That was definitely the highlight of the night. So after we got cooled down, Kenny came on. I have seen him now 3 times and of course this show was very comparable to all his other shows. One other highlight was that Jennifer Nettles from Sugarland, made an appearance and sang "Stay." I just love Sugarland, so I enjoyed her but we didn't really get a good view of her. We pretty much had to watch that song on the big screen. The concert was amazing, but would much rather go for free like we did than pay the $400-$500 dollars the people next to us paid. Whew! How fun, here are some of our up-close pictures.

On the right track

Well now that my blog has been 'fancied' up, all I need to do is actually blog. :) I have been very busy and will blog soon, I promise. I am still just trying to figure out the ins and outs of this. One thing I am trying to do is import my blogs from wordpress. I see some information on the help page but can't seem to find the 'export' button they refer to. Can anyone help?

Have a Happy 4th of July!
